During the COVID-19 pandemic, our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our community of staff and members, and we will be supporting you in several different ways throughout these uncertain times.
We are committed to keeping our members connected and updated during this period and this hub, as well as our usual email, website and social media channels, will enable us to do that. We will be signposting to reputable information sources, which is crucial as the situation develops rapidly.
We will also share what we are doing to make sure pharmacologists are heard, including through our connection to the Science Media Centre and working with the press to disseminate accurate information where we can.
On behalf of the Society, I would like to express our deepest thanks to those who are contributing to the COVID-19 effort, including clinicians and laboratory staff.
Whether you are joining the nationwide #clapforourcarers events, or finding your own way to show gratitude, I know our Society is united in solidarity with the NHS and all those working on the frontline.
