The British Pharmacological Society has published a review of its strategy and achievements between 2012 and 2017, and set out its vision for the five years from 2018.

The review looks back on some highlights from a period of significant change and development for the Society, including a reframing of its governance structures, transformation of its business and technological infrastructure, an improved brand and online presence, and better use of data to understand more about pharmacology and the needs of our members.

The new strategy for 2018–2022 is being presented to members today (Tuesday 12 December 2017) at the Society’s Annual General Meeting, which is being held at Pharmacology 2017, the Society’s flagship annual meeting.

Building on the successes of the past five years, the 2018–2022 strategy seeks to establish the Society as an influential and proactive force for championing research, education, training and policy issues in pharmacology and clinical pharmacology.
