Members can apply for up to £250 to help towards the costs of a speaker and networking event. You can explore topics in depth and share ideas with your peers.
Organising an event is a fantastic opportunity to build up your CV. You will gain skills in teamwork, budget management and collaboration.
Eligibility
To be eligible the meeting will need to:
- organised by an undergraduate or postgraduate member
- be for pharmacology (or related) students or societies
- include a five minute introduction to the Society (we will send you this presentation)
We may ask you to provide a 50 word summary for our newsletter or Pharmacology Matters. [LINK]
Apply
To apply you will need to:
- submit a completed application form
- outline how the funding will contribute to your event
- show a commitment to securing funding from other sources
- explain how you intend to advertise the event
Deadlines for applications are:
- 28 February
- 28 April
- 29 September
We review applications after the deadline and contact applicants by email. We will confirm successful applications within two weeks.

To ensure a fair awards process, we can not award the funding to the same institute in consecutive years.
