As a member, you can apply for a bursary to help you attend and present at our events.
Eligibility
To be eligible you need to:
- be presenting your work at the event
- apply by the relevant deadline
If you are a student member you may need a Society member to support your application. We will contact you if this is the case.

To apply you will need to complete the bursary application form by the relevant deadline.
We review applications after the deadline and contact successful applicants by email. You will need this email when submitting your claim form.

Payments
To receive payment, you will need to complete and submit our bursary claim form. This must be within four weeks of the closing date of the meeting. Along with your bursary claim form you must submit:
- original receipts (keep copies if required, as we will not return these)
- copy of email confirming the bursary
- certificate of attendance
- short report on the meeting
We will only make payments to a bank account in the applicant’s name, unless otherwise stated.
