Vogt Prize

This prize rewards excellence in postgraduates. We award two prizes of £500 each year.

Nominations

As an early career, full of fellowship member you can nominate other members for this prize.

Nominations will open in January 2019.

Eligibility

Nominees will need to have received their MD or PhD in the last 18 months and work in:

  • exploratory or applied pharmacology
  • experimental, translational medicine and clinical research
  • have been members for a least two years

Vogt Prize

This prize is named in honour of Marthe Vogt, who was a pioneer throughout her career: graduating from Berlin University with both a medical degree and a doctorate in Chemistry (a rarity for a woman at that time), to becoming the third ever woman to join the British Pharmacological Society in 1937.
