Policy positions and statements

The British Pharmacological Society champions pharmacology in government, academic and charity consultations across a range of topics relating to its membership.

The Society’s members are often invited to input into consultation responses. Members' input is essential to producing valuable responses and other policy statements, and ensures their scientific expertise and advice is taken into account during decision making.

Members of the British Pharmacological Society are invited to contribute to the Society’s response to consultations.

The Society produces and endorses a number of statements, ranging from standalone papers and comments, to broader petitions and letters.
