This award provides career enhancing opportunities for members. Winners will receive up to £10,000 to fund a short term project or visit to a laboratory to learn a new technique.

Eligibility
Applicants will need to:
- have ordinarily been a member for at least two 2 years
- be within the first 6 years of a PhD award, or part-time equivalent (allowing for career breaks)
- have published at least two first author papers in the field of pharmacology
- be on, or aiming for, an academic career track
- be in full or part-time employment with at least 6 months remaining on their current contract
- be supported by a letter from the grant or fund holder which pays the applicants salary (non-tenured positions)
- not be in a tenured position
