As a member you can apply for a care support bursary if you have caring responsibilities. You can receive up to £200 to help cover caring costs associated with attending our meetings.
Eligibility
To be eligible you need to:
- have caring responsibilities
- benefit from attending an event
Generally, only one award per applicant, per calendar year.

You can apply at any time by sending following to Paul Tizard:
- send an outline of the event you wish to attend
- write a short statement on how attending will benefit you
- send a breakdown of the associated care costs
You must apply before the event.

Payment
To receive payment, you will need to complete and submit our bursary claim form. This must be within four weeks of the closing date of the meeting. Along with your bursary claim form you must submit:
- original receipts (keep copies if required, as we will not return these)
- copy of email confirming the bursary
- certificate of attendance
- short report on the meeting
We will only make payments to a bank account in the applicant’s name, unless otherwise stated.
