Workshops

The British Pharmacological Society runs a programme of educational workshops covering core principles and specialist areas of pharmacology. These workshops are suitable for those who have completed an undergraduate qualification in a molecular bioscience discipline or have equivalent experience and a basic understanding of pharmacology.

Workshops are designed to be interactive and may involve talks, small group ‘tutorial’ sessions, discussions and computer-assisted learning. Delegate numbers are limited at 25 to maximise learning and networking opportunities. Pre-workshop materials, including references, presentation summaries and speaker biographies are made available to delegates ahead of the workshops.

All workshops offer Royal Society of Biology accredited CPD points and workshops with significant clinical content may also offer Royal College of Physicians accredited CPD points. Society workshops also provide a great opportunity to meet and network with other attendees and workshop organisers, including at the workshop dinner which all are invited to attend.

More information can be found on our calendar of future scientific meetings. If you have any queries regarding the workshops, please email education@bps.ac.uk.
